     Welcome to Silverbear Gallery . I have been making handmade paper cast since February of 1999. I dye my hand made paper cast  with natural plants that make earth tone colors, just as my Grandmother taught me for my weavings . I attended a workshop on paper making in 1998. Since then I have developed my own unique style of paper art. By combining ancient petroglyph designs and modern techniques I create wall art that have the color and texture of sandstone.

      I am an Artist with a variety of disciplines in which I have been honored with awards from honorable mention to Best of Show.  First and foremost I am a tapestry weaver since the age of 13 ,from the Two Grey Hills area in New Mexico. I am also a jeweler and a Health Educator.

     I am ready for new challenges as I am in process of developing a new technique to build three dimensional wall art depicting ancient Pueblo ruins from the surrounding area here in Zuni, New Mexico.
